Ariel Yu Tsao is a Taiwanese filmmaker raised in Shanghai, whose multicultural upbringing continues to shape her perspective as a visual storyteller. At fifteen, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking at Idyllwild Arts Academy, where she specialized in Producing and First Assistant Directing also directed a film called “Qipao”. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, with an expected graduation in 2029.

As the founder of YUN, Ariel is drawn to stories that leave a lasting emotional resonance. Inspired by the Chinese concept of 韵 (Yùn)—the intangible beauty and essence that lingers beyond an experience—she approaches filmmaking as a way of preserving not only moments, but the feelings and memories that remain long after they pass.

Whether producing, coordinating productions, or developing stories, Ariel is passionate about transforming ideas into tangible cinematic experiences. She enjoys balancing the creative vision with the practical demands of production, finding fulfillment in guiding projects from concept to screen while ensuring every detail serves the story. With experience working across narrative, commercial, and documentary productions, she brings an organized, collaborative, and thoughtful approach to every set, believing that the strongest films are built through both creative intuition and meticulous execution.

曹豫 Ariel Tsao 是一位來自台灣、成長於上海的電影創作者。多元文化的成長背景，持續塑造著她作為影像敘事者的創作視角。十五歲時，她前往美國洛杉磯，就讀於 Idyllwild Arts Academy 研習電影製作，主修製片（Producing）與第一副導演（First Assistant Directing），並執導短片《旗袍》。目前，她就讀於紐約大學帝勢藝術學院（New York University Tisch School of the Arts）電影與電視學士學位課程，預計於 2029 年畢業。

身為 YUN 的創辦人，Ariel 深深著迷於那些能夠在人心中留下餘韻的故事。品牌靈感源自中文「韻」的概念——一種超越當下經驗、難以言喻卻能深刻感知的美感與精神意境。因此，她將電影視為保存時間、情感與記憶的媒介，不僅記錄稍縱即逝的瞬間，更捕捉那些在故事結束後依然縈繞心中的情緒與共鳴。

無論擔任製片、統籌現場製作，或投入故事開發，Ariel 都熱衷於將創意構想轉化為具體而動人的電影作品。她享受在藝術創作與製作執行之間取得平衡，並在引導專案從概念發展至最終呈現的過程中，確保每一個細節都忠於故事本身。曾參與劇情片、商業廣告與紀錄片等不同類型的影像製作，她始終以嚴謹的組織能力、開放的合作態度與細膩的創作思維投入每一個劇組，並相信最動人的作品，來自創作者的直覺與團隊精準執行之間的完美平衡。
